'Every Team, Everywhere' is my university thesis primarily looking at how to apply gender equity in design systems. It also looks at the impact of research in shaping design choices to make new branding impactful and positive. I created a new design system for the Danish federation (Dansk Boldspil Union or DBU), switching them to a two-crest system. This system sees their traditional crest remain as the federation crest, with a new design for the national teams. I would like to thank the DBU for their help and assistance with this project.

The Mute Swan

The national bird of the country is known for its elegance but also its ferocity. This speaks to the style of football that the federation plays.

The Dannebrog

The national flag is the oldest, continuous-use flag in the world. By connecting it in the wings and sails, it speaks to the nation lifting and carrying the spirit of the national teams. The Dannebrog is also shown in motion, showing the progress and advancement of the nation and the federation.

The Marguerite Daisy

The national flower featured in the DBU crest receives a simple-yet-modern redesign for the national teams.

The Longship

The Danish spirit of exploration and adventure expanded their power and influence in Europe and Scandanavia. The Longship design influences the shape of The Swan, speaking to a national team mindset to conquer and win both home and away.
