This concept project is for the upcoming 30th anniversary of the release of Sleater-Kinney's debut album. I wanted to capture the evolution of the band's sound and image over their career. I used a 3-D inspired approach that uses custom photography textures to show the rougher sound of the group Riot Grrrl beginnings on the front cover. The back cover shows a more minimal aethetic to convey the change in genre and style the band currently has. Sleater-Kinney has been a massive inspiration to me and other queer people, and I wanted this project to celebrate the band's history.
